There's No Screaming in Space

The stars winked across the millennia at one of their many descendants as the incision in her abdomen burst open, revealing the void inside her. Just as she was about to open her mouth to scream, she wondered who or what it was out there in the vacuum that said to her 
 "Hush, child. There's no screaming in space."
