I hate the fact that people who seek help for drug addiction can't find it here. I went on a clinical when I thought I wanted to be an EMT and a patient had stopped the cops because he'd just gotten out of jail and done crack. When we dropped him off at the hospital we were told the only place he could get help was at the state psychiatric hospital, and they didn't have enough beds. Understandably, he stormed out. As much as I could have cheerfully throttled the drug addict I knew, she could be a decent person when she wasn't flipping out. The ex-addicts I know are some of the most compassionate people I know now. I don't excuse addicts for their stupid behavior, but it's easier to tell someone to get their act together than to do it. I was thinking of selling this and some other designs and donating proceeds to the psychiatric hospital. What do y'all think?
